In the heart of Hóc Môn District, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam a pivotal infrastructure enhancement has unfolded with the construction of a new 630KVA transformer station at the premises of the Garmex Garment Factory. Positioned strategically along National Highway 22, this project is engineered to bolster the factory’s production capabilities through a steadfast supply of electricity. Spearheaded by Quang Anh Electrical Installation Limited Company and under the watchful eye of Hóc Môn Electricity, this initiative is marked by the installation of a 100-meter stretch of 3x50mm2, 24kv medium voltage underground cable, seamlessly integrating with the national grid.
This endeavor not only aims to energize the factory’s extensive operations but also to establish a foundation for consistent production efficiency. At its core, the transformer station boasts a Thibidi oil-immersed 630KVA transformer, ensuring durable and uninterrupted power distribution. Enhanced with a 320Kvar reactive power compensation system, the setup is optimized for power factor correction, significantly reducing the financial burden of reactive power consumption.
Critical to the project’s success are the advanced switchgear mechanisms, including MCCB 1000A and Contactors, paired with state-of-the-art medium voltage TU and TI metering devices. These components form the backbone of the electrical infrastructure, ensuring precision and safety across all manufacturing processes.
Upon its completion, the Garmex Sài Gòn Garment Factory stands better equipped to tackle future production demands, supported by a reliable and efficient energy system. This project not only underscores the region’s industrial growth but also exemplifies the synergy between cutting-edge technology and human ingenuity in fostering economic resilience.
