The initiative to establish a medium and low voltage electrical grid and a 2500KVA 22/0.4KV kiosk substation within Long Hau Industrial Park 3, located in Can Giuoc District, Long An Province, stands as a declaration of Quanganhcons’s dedication to delivering efficient and eco-friendly energy solutions. The Bericap facility in Vietnam, spanning 6,600 square meters, represents not just the 27th plant worldwide for the conglomerate but also its biggest venture in Southeast Asia. Initially set up with 24 production lines, Bericap plans to extend to 60 lines in Vietnam to serve both the local and international markets.

The project’s construction phase was meticulously conducted, adhering to strict technical and safety norms, and involved the use of cutting-edge tools and materials. This encompassed laying a new 3x70mm2 24kV underground medium voltage cable across hot asphalt roads to link with Can Giuoc’s 22KV electrical grid. This cable facilitates power to the 2500KVA kiosk transformer station, which employs a dry-type transformer and an ACB 4000A 100KA electric cabinet alongside a 1000KVAR reactive power compensation cabinet to enhance the station’s power factor.

Guarded by devices such as the Cooper/Eaton 24KV 630A Recloser and FDX control cabinet, and incorporating a 4000A MDB for the manufacturing zone, the project also introduced nearly 1000 meters of new low-voltage 300mm2 underground cable. The undertaking involved the connection of medium and low voltage cables and the full installation of required electrical gear, guaranteeing uninterrupted traffic and aesthetic enhancement post-construction through robotic drilling across roadways.

The project’s execution was top-notch, from setting up reclosers and FDX control cabinets to laying new low-voltage underground cables and connecting medium and low voltage cables, ensuring a stable and secure electricity supply for the manufacturing zone.

The activation of the 2500KVA transformer station, supplying robust electrical power to the Bericap factory, not only signifies a major accomplishment for Quanganhcons in the realm of electrical system and substation construction up to 35kV but also marks a pivotal advancement in the progression of Long Hau Industrial Park.
